Where will we be going and what kind of things will we see?

There are several routes we can take including: extreme off-roading, sightseeing, hiking, or exploring mines and ruins. Each area we visit is unique and the scenery is always spectacular!

Is it ok to bring our entire family, including the kids?

Yes, kids are our favorite customers! And they will remember this trip for the rest of their lives.

Do you pick us up?

We will pick you up from your location if you choose the Hummer tour. If you’re outside the North Phoenix or North Scottsdale area, we can arrange a convenient location for pick up. The Ranger tours require you to meet us out on the trail north of Phoenix or we can arrange transportation for an additional fee.

What should we wear?

Dress appropriate for the weather. Light hiking clothes or shorts almost always work in Arizona. Close-toed shoes are a must. Depending on the time of year you might also bring along a sweatshirt or light jacket.

Do we stop along the way?

We have many points of interest to show you and always take time to get out and walk about. There are some exciting places to go that are best reached on two feet rather than 4 wheels! Even a Hummer can’t go everywhere.

Should I bring my camera?

Bring your camera – there are incredible photo ops at every turn. Or, leave it at home and just relax and take in the scenery.

How long is the tour?

Tours are customized to each group. Our average time in the desert is approximately 2 1/2 to 3 hours plus transportation time to and from the trail. Most tours are 4-5 hours total.

What time do the tours begin?

At AZ Hummer Tours we believe that your vacation should be on your schedule. Therefore we do not have “set” start times. Once you have chosen a date, please call us to set up a time that fits your vacation schedule.

Do you offer night tours?

We do not start any tours in the dark. One of our most popular tours is our sunset tour which begins a couple of hours before sunset so that you can enjoy the stunning views of the desert and finishes by watching the sunset from one of many spectacular locations before driving out under the stars.
